Tennis will be one of the principal sports at the Prince’s Club. An amazing climate and dramatic scenery of oceans and mountains provide the perfect setting for playing tennis. Our coaches will have qualifications from their respective federations. There will be multiple playing surfaces, ranging from grass through to clay, making the Prince’s Club an ideal destination for training.

Real Tennis & Rackets

The Real Tennis & Rackets courts will be unique to the region and also to the continent of Africa.

These wonderful sports will create a unique blend of visitor and member and distinguish the club from others around the world.

Squash

A full- time professional will coach, string rackets and organise internal box leagues to encourage use and development of the game. Casablanca recently held an Arab Squash Tournament consisting of international teams from the Arabic world which was a success. Egypt produces the best players in the world today. We aim to make use of this growing sport in North Africa.

Prince's Club will become the home of the Moroccan Squash Federation and as such attract the top talent of North Africa and its surrounding areas. This will allow us to have tournaments within the clubhouse and use the recessed amphitheatre tennis court to hold international and national tournaments with a temporary all-glass squash court.

Golf

A championship golf course will be developed in the early phases of the Prince’s Club, taking the design from an international golf course architect. Long par four holes, breath taking views and fantastic weather will draw players from all over Europe to the Club.

Polo/Equestrian

The Prince’s Club will host international polo tournaments, glorious show-piece events that will provide the benchmark for polo in Morocco.

The Club will be at the forefront of supporting polo for the young. Through the season it will hold representative matches and tournaments for Schools and Universities.

Football

Adjacent to the Prince’s Club lies the magnificent new Stade d’Agadir football stadium, providing a 45,000 seat multi sports facility. The stadium is built to FIFA international standards and is expected to host international and domestic football matches, athletics events and also cultural and music festivals, for which Agadir is already well known.

Other Sports

Within the Prince’s Club there will be outdoor and indoor facilities for such sports as basketball, netball, soccer, rugby, hockey, cricket. Trails through the resort will be open for cycling, running and walking. Superb swimming pools will give families a place to play and competitors a place to train.

Regional Sports Academy

Immediately to the north east of the Prince’s Club a Regional Sports Academy is to be developed by the Moroccan government. It will include 5 football pitches, 2 with athletics tracks, with accommodation and ancillary facilities. Prince’s Cub expects to work in conjunction with the Sports Academy, making Agadir an international location for professional and schools sports training.
